"Seeing the big with the small" is a useful technique in artistic creation, a great example is the traditional Chinese painting “Ancient Temple Hidden in the Deep Mountains”. Photography, in a way, is the art of "seeing the big with the small". All the images framed by the shutter are a cross-section of time, but the meaning of the images usually transcends time itself.

 

This group of pictures was taken in Beijing University of Technology, with the aim of extracting abstracted and spiritual meaning from the figurative entities of the constructions, condensing the general spiritual perception into symbols.
